The site is now being hosted on a different server and www.cykovisuals.com is now active. I am going to rebuild the pages from scratch to make them better than they are now. This will take a week or so, if I have the time to work on them. This weekend I am teaching a group of people the basics of Photoshop so I will probably not have time to work on the site then. I figure I should have everything the way I want it in approx. a month or so at max. I think I may be starting a second job as well, so that eats my time up drmatically as well. I purchased the domain www.cykovisuals.com last night and will hopefully be transferring to another new host soon. Things are moving along... Once all of that is finished, I will then be updating & recreating the other pages so that all of the flash buttons above will work.

I found this really cool program last night that captures in-game play to an .avi movie file and it works really well. Most programs like these capture a series of a thousand .bmp files then you have to use another program to merge and convert all of those to a movie file. This one captures in real-time and the results are outstanding. While the file sizes remain huge even on the smaller resolution setting, they can easily be re-encoded to reduce the file size. I recorded approx. 2 minutes and the file size was 707 MB. I then converted it to an .wmv file to share on the web, which turned out to be 6.1 MB and the quality wasn't degraded very much at all. I just signed up for this website and it is pretty cool. I can bid on graphics jobs that people need done. It is set up with my PayPal account, we shall see how that goes. I already bid on a job that requires someone knowledgable in CorelDRAW, they need an existing ad edited, hopefully they will contact me. I love sleeping in and not having to worry about that alarm clock going off in the morning. I can just sleep to my heart's content and that rules. We had a busy day yesterday at the bead show, we did okay, but not as well as we wanted to. Still, not bad for our first show. I hope everyone has a nice weekend and don't even think about tomorrow, hehe.
